Stop Smoking Zyban
Question:
Does taking zyban make you completely want to stop smoking?

Answer:
Zyban isn't supposed to make you completely stop wanting to smoke, although it effects some people that way. You have to take the final step and quit even if you still feel cravings. Zyban just makes it easier, not easy. Good luck with your quit. I'm also taking Zyban (Wellbutrin). You're supposed to take the medicine for 8-14 days, and have a target quit date within that time. It's not designed to make you quit miraculously. You need to make the effort to stop, also. The zyban will help you with the major cravings, and you need to work on the psychological and habit aspects of quitting. What it does is reduce the depression and anxiety of givning up to the point where you won't care if you have another cig or not. But the initial stoppage has to be taken by you. Don't worry, I went through the same and it wasn't as hard as I thought it would be.
