Stop Smoking Inhaler
Question:
What is the Nicorette inhaler and how does it help stop smoking?

Answer:
The Nicorette inhaler is a plastic cigarette that holds a nicotine cartridge. Each cartridge is the equivalent of 4 cigarettes. The insert for it states that it can be used to cut down, by itself, or along with other NRT. When using it alone they recommend you use 6-12 cartridges per day. It can also be used during times when you can't smoke. I just quit using the inhaler, its been 5 days since i last had a smoke. I personally didn't use the inhaler, but there are a few people here that quit succesfully with it. It's a nicotine replacement that gives you nicotine through mouth or nose and that way it's in the brain rather quick, a bit like the gum. It gives you an instant 'fix' applied when needed unlike the patch that gives you a rather stable nicotinedose, with no highs and lows.
