The Quit Smoking
Network (QSN), funded by the National Cancer Institute can be found at
(http://qsn.ori.org). The smoking cessation website is free of
cost.
The Quit Smoking Network is an Internet-based interactive cessation program that can be
tailored to your specific needs. The program can provide an opportunity to
get peer support form others trying to quit and to pose questions to
smoking cessation experts. The program was developed
by Oregon Research Institute and funded by a grant from the National Cancer
Institute. Because its part of a research project you would be asked to
provide some information about yourself, which also helps to tailor the
program.
The Quit Smoking Network has the following components;
