| Quit Smoking Support Group |
Question:
What's the difference between an anti smoking suppot group and a support group for quitting smoking?
Answer:
A support group to quit smoking is much different than an anti-smoking
group. These folks are doing something supremely difficult, since it's
been said that nicotine is more addictive than heroin, especially with all
the nicotine uptake additives in cigarettes to increase the nicotine hit
for that exact purpose.
We in alt.smokers are well aware of the difference between a nonsmoker and
an antismoker and even 'preach' the difference. Many regulars in
alt.smokers, fighting for smokers rights, are nonsmokers, and all around
good people. They are our friends, and the friends of American liberty. I'd
go so far as to label them true American patriots, and some of them aren't
even American.
